Apportioned plates are used on trucks and buses operating in more than one jurisdiction as part of the International Registration Plan (IRP). Oregon "DOT" apportioned plates were white on red, but they changed to black on white around 2013. DOT IRP plates are issued in these two variations and series:
1. Y AAA123 is for Apportioned single plate, red high Y AGP 113, 2013 white low was Y AHN 117.
2. Y APA123, ARx and ASx series are all for apportioned pair of plates, 2013 high was Y ARR 548.
Note: There are numerous data in our History tab (all YCx between 2014-22) which should all be moved to a different tracking bucket. These data belong to a similarly-designed white plate, series Y Cxx123 with "COMMERCIAL" along bottom, used on trucks NOT licensed to leave Oregon
