The majority of temporary permits issued in Ontario since 2008 receive regular metal plate(s) with a red on white "T" sticker affixed to top right corner. That was the general replacement for the previous 10 Day Temporary Permit used until 7-31-08.

This 5.5 x 8.5" 10 Day Special Permit is only issued when T sticker plate is not appropriate, such as on some motorcycles, single trip permits and out of province vehicles. It is self-adhesive along the top and bottom and discarded after use.
