Blue on white plate updated in 2008 with "STATE" diagonally printed on left using Spirit of America dies. Numbering includes, full-sized prefix letter starting with A, embossed "OFFICIAL" in place of bottom slogan. Border dropped from municipal, fire, police, and state series at the same time.
Prior 1977 base version had "STATE" embossed diagonally, followed by the number and one small letter, high 743G.
