Notre Dame plate freshened

Sep 1, 2011 — Notre Dame’s Indiana license plate has been restyled for 2011.

As part of a statewide move away from stacked characters, the new plates leave more room for the registration number at the right, allowing the complete registration number to appear in full-size characters.

The plates are available to all Indiana motorists for a surcharge of $40, of which $25 benefits the Alumni Association’s community service and academic programs.
