| Passenger | FNN 959 | From Skipper Horner: Passenger and Truck types started at AAB 100 and continued at their own pace until they got their own series. Pass. and truck plates in this set (through BNF 856) were all unique and there are no duplicates as originally thought. Plate numbers can be duplicated between "passenger" and "truck" in a few different specialty types. Therefore, the same number can exist on passenger and truck plates, although there are fewer truck plates. Now, passenger and truck plates are issued "ahead" and backfilled, this is why we see larger gaps (example: jump from FGD to FGR and from 155A### to 162A###). Notice that the whole FK- series appears to have been skipped. Rare exceptions to "normal" plates: BMV ### on cars (and all BMW are T/R/K); T/R/A AEJ ### |

| Veteran | V6843 |
The V series is for non-war Vets. The numeric issue is for war Vets, and they have a large sticker denoting which war they were a part of.
Skipper reports Veteran T/R/K 47634 2011-12-16 It appears Passenger is in the 43000 block, but Truck is in the 47000 block. Passenger high: 43999 Skipper reports seeing non-trk 47000, which could be a mistake. It did not have the T/R/K legend, nor was it on a truck. |
